    There  are several reasons to choose a Custom Marine Fabrication product. The 316-L stainless steel one-piece welded frames, rails and accessories manufactured by Custom Marine Fabrication are inherently much stronger than products made from other alloys, aluminum, or products assembled with fittings  and  couplings.   The   cosmetic appearance of our products are not only superior at the purchase but will continue to outshine others after years of service. Better than both of these reasons, however, is the fact that you will never have your boat outing interrupted because a simple set screw has worked loose or the threads in a fitting have stripped.

WHY USE 316-L STAINLESS STEEL? 
    We chose 316 Lexcel stainless steel for its special qualities of high corrosion resistance in  salt  water,  great  tensile  strength, weldability, and its attractive appearance. The superior strength and weldability allows us to produce a product that is strong, light, and attractive. The mirror-like luster is not the result of plating, but is the basic metal polished and buffed. Our products will maintain their beauty with a minimum of care. Except in extreme circumstances, rinsing with clean water and wiping dry with a soft cloth is all that is required.
